Snowden responded that the NSA isn’t releasing everything, and that many of his complaints were made in person. In response, the NSA released an email message from Snowden, dated 8 April 2013, asking if executive orders have the same legal footing as legislation, which the NSA claims proves that he was not raising concerns.
